What was going on at my uncles funeral & why was he so still in his casket when I viewed his body?

I am going back to the past for just a moment and in June 2009 I went to a funeral and when it was my turn to view the body,he was very very very still that it sent chills up my back,all through the funeral he didn't move or make a sound and he was as still as a TV sitting on a TV stand.
